Christina works with her customers to reduce and manage their risk, improve their operations, and increase their profitability. She is second family generation of Salvatore Insurance Brokers and has grown up in the insurance industry with involvement in the trucking industry in Atlantic Canada. She works with new and existing clients to develop an insurance program and assist her clients in reducing their claims frequency and severity through loss prevention techniques.
 
She is responsible for the direction and leadership of Salvatore Insurance Brokers and works closely with the brokerage’s management team. She consistently challenges her team to improve operations while still ensuring that the brokerage continues to go above and beyond for our clients.
 
In 2018, she was awarded the Make a Difference Mentor award from the Atlantic Insurance Institute. She has also been featured in several industry magazines including a top ten emerging young professionals in Canada. Through her career, Christina has obtained her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker designation, Chartered Insurance Professional designation, and has completed courses in Training Insurance Producer Systems, Executive Leadership Program, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point Planning.
 
She is also involved in several organizations including Family Business Association Atlantic (FBAA), and the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association (APTA) on the Safety Council. She is an active member of Insurance Broker Association of Nova Scotia and works with their political action committee. She is also a member of the Nova Scotia Young Brokers Network (YBN) where she served as chair of the committee in 2011-12.
